What We Believe
We stand in the historic stream of classical Christian orthodoxy, centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and communicated with clarity, humility, and grace.
A note for spiritual seekers & doubters
You don’t have to agree with everything on this page before you visit or belong in our community. We invite you to come explore Jesus with us at your own pace.
God’s Living & Authoritative Word
We believe the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, inerrant, and fully trustworthy Word of God. The Scriptures are the complete revelation of God’s will for salvation and the supreme authority by which all Christian conduct, doctrine, and values must be evaluated.
One God in Three Persons
We believe in one sovereign, infinite, and holy God who eternally exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, equal in divine nature, power, and glory.
Fully God, Fully Man, Resurrected Savior
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who took on human flesh, was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death on the cross for our sins, bodily rose from the dead on the third day, and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
A Gift Received Through Faith Alone
We believe all humans are created in the image of God but are spiritually broken and separated from God because of sin. Salvation cannot be earned through good works or religious rituals; it is a free gift of God’s grace received through personal faith in Jesus Christ alone.
The Household of God & Body of Christ
We believe the Church is not a building or an institution, but the spiritual body and family of Jesus Christ. We gather weekly for worship, prayer, biblical teaching, communion, and baptism, and scatter throughout the week to love our neighbors and serve our city.
Christ’s Return & Final Restoration
We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to consummate His kingdom, execute just judgment, resurrect the dead, and restore creation to everlasting beauty, joy, and peace with God.
